Dr Magdy El Ashrey 

Dr El Ashrey has a diverse background having had experience in General Medicine, Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Pediatrics, ENT, Cardiology and Emergency Medicine. 

Dr El Ashrey's objective is to set up a comprehensive health service whilst reaching high standards of Quality and Infection control measures, build an excellent health care team and to maintain its high level of service for patients. Dr El Ashrey has a huge interest in matters of the skin, which has led to him opening up a skin clinic in 2018.

It gives Dr El Ashrey great satisfaction to see the growth of the clinic and the relationships that have been built between fellow Doctors and patients.

Janaki De Silva

Dr Janaki DeSilva has been a Doctor at Walloon Medical Centre for more than 10years with over 20years of experience as a medical practitioner. She completed both her GP training and fellowship in Australia. She has a very extensive background working at a number of major hospitals in Brisbane including the Mater Children’s , Mater Adult , Royal Brisbane, Caboolture , and the Prince Charles Hospital.

She has worked in cardiology, respiratory, orthopedics, palliative care, mental health, women's health, paediatrics, geriatrics and Emergency units. Further she has had training in skin cancer and worked full time in a skin cancer clinic as well. Dr DeSilva finds being a GP is very rewarding and loves working in a rural community . She has a particular interest in elderly health,Paediatrics, antenatal and post-natal care, chronic disease management, skin checks and excisions. In her free time Dr DeSilva loves to travel, and spend time with her family.

Dr Karam Al-Dabbagh

Dr Karam Al-Dabbagh is our female General Practitioner who has 12 years of overseas experience in medical practice. Before beginning work at Walloodrdbn Medical Centre, Dr Al-Dabbagh worked in many overseas hospitals. She practiced in different medical and surgery units including Preventive Medicine & Health Promotion, Chronic Disease Management, Mental Health & Well-being, Women's Health and Family Care.

Dr Al-Dabbagh has more than eight years’ clinical practice in diagnosing and treating conditions that affect the joints, muscles, and bones in helping people with diseases like arthritis, lupus, fibromyalgia, and other conditions that can cause pain, stiffness, and inflammation in the joints. She has cared to improve patients’ quality of life by managing symptoms, reducing pain, and helping them stay active and mobile.

Dr. Al-Dabbagh would apply their broad medical knowledge, valuable expertise and skills to provide primary care to patients. She would offer enhanced care for patients by diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, not just limited to rheumatology. She would also focus on preventive care, wellness promotion, and managing chronic conditions.

Dr. Thushara Singhalage, is one of our dedicated female general practitioner,  With 14 years of overseas medical practice, including 7 years as a general practitioner in Sri Lanka, Dr. Thushara brings a wealth of experience in various fields, including medical and surgical care, women’s health, anesthesia, and intensive care unit (ICU) management.

                                                                                                Dr Veena Ramachandran 

MBBS, FRQCGP - Professional Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine - Professional Certificate in Skin Cancer

Dr Veena Ramachandran is a highly experienced General Practitioner with over 15 years of clinical experience in Australian General Practice.

She is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and holds professional Certificate in both Aesthetic Medicine and Skin Cancer Medicine.

Dr Veena began her medical career in Townsville, where she practiced for seven years before relocating to Brisbane in 2017. Since then she has been a dedicated GP in the western suburbs, known for her compassionate approach and long-term commitment to her patients

- Women's health

- Mens health 

- Children's health 

- Mental health 

- Occupational health

Dr Veena also performs a wide range of minor surgical and procedural services including:
